i was born in a litter of about 6 or 7, sent to the county shelter as a tiny kitten, and was adopted by a family shortly after. i have always been a pretty fluffy cat (especialy my paws). when i was a kitten, i had some lighter-colored fur that looked like a dusting of ash on my black coat - and was almost named Vesuvius as a result. i lost my "baby fur" after a few months, and remain the fuzzy black cat you see before you. in this blog, i attempt to journal my day-to-day exploits, share some of my feline experiences, and really get to the bottom of that age-old question, "what does it take to be a cat in the twenty-first century?"
